Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta was the 54-41 winner over Harrison County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Augusta Panthers fell 42-32 to the Harrison County Thorobreds on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Harrison County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13.

Coming up, Augusta will venture away from home to square off against Bracken County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrison County, they will welcome Pendleton County at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
