Soccer Recap: Fayette Ware Takes a Loss

Fayette Ware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the McNairy Central Bobcats, falling 6-2. If Fayette Ware were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to McNairy Central when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Parker Latimore and Nakylan Hall scored both of Fayette Ware's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Fayette Ware now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for McNairy Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayette Ware will face off against Dyer County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McNairy Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on April 10.
