Gibson Southern had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Washington Hatchets by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Thursday.

Gibson Southern's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Washington, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-4.

Coincidentally, Gibson Southern and Washington will both be playing Evansville Central the next time they take the court. The Hatchets will head out to face the Bears at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
