Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington managed to slip by Madison Plains the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Lions lost 5-2 to the Golden Eagles on Tuesday. Washington were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Madison Plains apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Madison Plains, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will host Logan Elm at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison Plains, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
