A Season-Best Effort from Carson Kotil Leads Crete over Lincoln Northwest

Carson Kotil produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Crete to the win on Friday. Kotil rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run.

With the victory, Crete broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6. Kotil and Crete will venture away from home to face off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
