Basketball Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

Mt. St. Joseph Academy was the 40-35 winner over Poultney when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave fell 54-46 to the Poultney Blue Devils on Wednesday. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Poultney, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

While Mt. St. Joseph Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
