Volleyball Recap: New Waverly Extends Winning Streak to Three

New Waverly had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Centerville Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

New Waverly easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11.

New Waverly now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Centerville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

New Waverly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Shepherd on the 15th. As for Centerville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against New Caney on the 15th.
