Soccer Recap: Fort Mill Comes Up Short

Fort Mill lost against Clover two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Clover Blue Eagles who were credited with the win. The Clover Blue Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets' six. The Yellow Jackets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Fort Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Clover, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Fort Mill will welcome Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clover, they are taking a road trip to challenge Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clover is facing Northwestern at the right time seeing as Northwestern is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
