Lewisburg's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the DeSoto Central Jaguars. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Talon Haley made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Caden Nelson was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Lewisburg is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for DeSoto Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Lewisburg will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
