Southern Boone waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hallsville Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Southern Boone was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 23-25, 25-13.

Kambria Brown paced Southern Boone's offense, picking up eight kills. Brown got some help from Payton Germann and her 15 assists. Hayden Chaney and Camyrn Seymour kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Southern Boone's victory bumped their record up to 11-17-1. As for Hallsville, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-10-1.

Southern Boone has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Father Tolton on the 20th. As for Hallsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Tipton on the 18th.
