Volleyball Recap: Our Lady Academy Victorious

The Our Lady Academy Crescents beat the DeSoto Central Jaguars 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crescents.

Taylor Henley paced Our Lady Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Henley got some help from Myah Favre and her 14 assists. Kaylin Kinniburgh and Madeline Piazza kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Our Lady Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for DeSoto Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Our Lady Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Madison Central on the 2nd. As for DeSoto Central, they will face off against Lake Cormorant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Lake Cormorant has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
