Deer Park posted their biggest win since January 30th on Tuesday. They blew past the Channelview Falcons 65-45. Given the Deer's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 440th, while the Falcons are ranked 1163rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Deer Park is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Channelview, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Deer Park will be home for the holidays to greet Clear Brook at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Channelview, they will square off against MacArthur at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
