Baseball Recap: St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots vs. Liberty Eagles
St. Louis HomeSchool P managed to slip by Liberty the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Eagles on Monday, falling 9-3. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
St. Louis HomeSchool P saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Bates, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.
This is the second loss in a row for St. Louis HomeSchool P and nudges their season record down to 25-18. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 14-19 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
St. Louis HomeSchool P does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they will face off against Fort Zumwalt West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
