Council will head into Saturday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Horseshoe Bend on Saturday. Council breezed by Horseshoe Bend to the tune of 54-18. The Lumberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cascade humbled Horseshoe Bend with a 48-16 victory.

Council now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Cascade, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
