Grand Junction Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the University Bulldogs.
While Grand Junction Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into University's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-16.
University found their leader in sophomore Shylee Dyess, who had 12 digs and three aces. Dyess has been hot , having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played.
