Softball Recap: Grand Street Campus Takes a Loss

Grand Street Campus entered their game against John Jay on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Grand Street Campus came up short against John Jay, falling 18-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against John Jay this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 back in March.

Grand Street Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for John Jay, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Street Campus will host Scholars Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Jay, they will be playing at home against Brooklyn Technical at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
