The Vela Sabercats entered their tilt with the Pioneer Diamondbacks with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Vela strolled past the Diamondbacks with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 46-28. This was payback for Vela, who suffered a 55-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Coleman has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gg Betancourt, who scored 11 points along with five assists and four steals.

Vela will take on the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
