Hale County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yasmine Jackson, who scored 13 points along with 8 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Hale County's points. Another player making a difference was Kha?liyah Harris, who scored 6 points along with 7 steals.
Greensboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hale County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Greensboro will be playing in front of their home fans against Greene County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hale County, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
