Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

If Calhoun County was feeling good fresh off their 20-1 takedown of Ridge Spring-Monetta on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints came up short against the Horse Creek Academy Stallions on Monday, falling 25-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost six in a row.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Horse Creek Academy, they moved to 9-9 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
