Baseball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short

Arcadia's tournament run continued when they took on Corona on Wednesday. The Apaches fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arcadia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Manzo, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Arcadia's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Corona, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Arcadia and Corona should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Apaches (ranked 131st) will meet Burroughs (ranked 308th) at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Corona will square off against Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (2 vs. 46).
