Basketball Game Preview: Texhoma Red Devils vs. Boise City Wildcats

Texhoma and Boise City are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Texhoma is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since January 5th last Friday. They fell just short of Laverne by a score of 47-44.

Meanwhile, Boise City's game two weeks ago was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-40 to Balko/Forgan, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Texhoma's record is now 1-3. As for Boise City, their record now sits at 3-3.

Texhoma came up short against Boise City in their previous meeting on December 3rd, falling 47-38. Can Texhoma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
