Basketball Recap: Purcell Comes Up Short

Purcell and Ada squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Purcell had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ada Cougars by a score of 51-49.

Ada got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Grayson Morris out in front who posted nine points and seven rebounds. Morris is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caron Richardson, who had ten points.

Purcell's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Ada, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.

As of now, neither Purcell nor Ada have any future games scheduled.
