Volleyball Recap: University Prep Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Yerba Buena last Tuesday, University Prep Academy came back down to earth. The University Prep Academy Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milpitas Trojans on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

University Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Milpitas, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

University Prep Academy will head out to challenge Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give University Prep Academy their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Milpitas, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gunn at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
