Calera's win ends three-game losing streak on the road

Recap: Calera Bulldogs vs. Talihina Golden Tigers

The Calera Bulldogs's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Talihina by a score of 52-43.

Several Golden Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ramses Hernandez, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Eric Rose, who scored ten points along with three steals.

Calera's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Talihina, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calera won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Boswell on January 6th. As for Talihina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heavener at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Heavener focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
