Volleyball Recap: Lake Howell Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lake Howell waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the East River Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Silverhawks have posted against the Falcons since October 2, 2017.

Lake Howell's got stronger as the match went on, holding East River to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-12.

Natasha Casey paced Lake Howell's offense, picking up 12 kills. Casey got some help from Gladianis Agosto Rivera and her 16 assists.

Lake Howell's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for East River, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Howell will venture away from home to challenge Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East River, they will head out to take on Edgewater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
