Baseball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Oklahoma Bible on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Glencoe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teagan Voight, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Nate Staley, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Glencoe's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Oklahoma Bible, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Glencoe will face off against Mulhall-Orlando at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Oklahoma Bible does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
