Gage Friesen Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is High Plains's Gage Friesen, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Friesen's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 138 rushing yards dating back to last season. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

High Plains' win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Friesen and High Plains will challenge Lawrence-Nelson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
