Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jacksonville). They were the clear victor by an 18-8 margin over the Saks Wildcats on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Golden Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Jacksonville and bumps their season record up to 5-8. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Saks, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Jacksonville will venture away from home to challenge Wellborn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saks, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Saks Wildcats challenge Cleburne County Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
