Badger is 9-1 against Windham since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bombers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Badger has three straight victories, Windham has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Conneaut came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Badger, but Alison Price wouldn't allow it. The Braves came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday thanks in part to Price, who had 30 digs, 18 kills, and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last eight games she's played.
Badger walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 25-8.

Badger's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brianna Lendak, who had 14 kills, five digs, and four aces. With that strong performance, Lendak is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Hall, who had 25 digs and four assists.
They weren't the only good servers: Badger was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Windham came up short against Maplewood on Thursday, falling 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-16.
Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Badger, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Badger has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 13.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Windham struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Badger was able to grind out a solid victory over Windham when the teams last played back in August, winning 3-1. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Bombers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
