 The Sequoia Charter Stallions will head out on the road to  square off against  the Ridgeline Academy Eagles at 3:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Sequoia Charter is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 On March 12th, Sequoia Charter suffered a  tough 14-4 loss at the hands of Ajo.
 Meanwhile, Ridgeline Academy put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  12-0 margin over Imagine Prep Coolidge. Fans of Ridgeline Academy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout.
  Meera Hamieh made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Hamieh has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Hamieh was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all two of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gretchen Clower, who  went 1-for-1 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more  RBI the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Aliyah Swanson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all two of her plate appearances.
 Sequoia Charter now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for Ridgeline Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
