It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Chartiers Valley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Montour Spartans, sneaking past 2-1. For Chartiers Valley, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory Montour walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Chartiers Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Montour, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
