Wright entered their tilt with Lake Linden-Hubbell on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Lakes. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 14, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Brendan McCullough made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wright is undefeated when McCullough allows three or fewer hits, but 5-9 otherwise. McCullough was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
