Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

St. Anthony lost against St. Joseph Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The contest between the St. Anthony Yellowjackets and the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds didn't end well, with the St. Anthony Yellowjackets falling 41-23.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 23-8. As for St. Joseph Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will head out to challenge St. Augustine at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Saint Mary's Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Saint Mary's Hall has won five straight at home, while St. Joseph Academy won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
