Basketball Recap: Mile High Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Mile High Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 52-37 bruising from the Ambleside Skylarks on Tuesday. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 47-41 to the Skylarks when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ambleside had a senior duo take command as Bradyn Lewis went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points and Nate Nardella dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Lewis has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Malakhi Patterson, who posted four points and six steals.

Looking ahead, Mile High Academy will host Ascent Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Ambleside, they have already played their next matchup, a 61-28 victory against Parkhill Christian Academy on the 5th.
