Basketball Recap: Ryder Harris' Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Bay Haven Academy over Mosley

North Bay Haven Academy lost against Mosley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers lost to the Mosley Dolphins at home by a 53-37 margin. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 475th, while the Dolphins are ranked 184th).

North Bay Haven Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryder Harris, who posted 11 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Josuel Cruz, who put up five points and five assists.

Mosley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Mcfatter out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Mcfatter's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Smith, who scored 14 points.

North Bay Haven Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Mosley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

North Bay Haven Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 89-48 win against Laurel Hill on the 6th. As for Mosley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-29 victory against Rutherford on the 7th.
