Basketball Recap: North Nodaway Takes a Loss

North Nodaway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Gilman City Hawks, falling 40-15. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

North Nodaway's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Gilman City, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Nodaway will square off against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Gilman City, they will face off against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
