Basketball Game Preview: Kiowa Indians vs. Simla Cubs

Kiowa is 0-10 against Simla since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Kiowa Indians will welcome the Simla Cubs at 7:00 p.m.

Kiowa is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Dayspring Christian Academy on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Kiowa came up short against Dayspring Christian Academy, falling 56-33.

Meanwhile, Simla waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed by the Rams to the tune of 66-39. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 27 points or more this season.

Simla pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Kiowa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Kiowa took a serious blow against Simla in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, falling 55-11. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Simla's Caston Cox, who posted 19 points and eight steals.
