Natrona County hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Natrona County Mustangs put the hurt on the Central Indians with a sharp 50-27 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mustangs have posted since February 15, 2024.

Natrona County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Natrona County will take on South at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campbell County at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
