Recap: Demopolis vs. Shelby County
In what's become a running theme this season, the Demopolis Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They never let Shelby County onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The victory was just what Demopolis needed coming off of a 3-0 defeat in their prior matchup.
Demopolis' victory bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for Shelby County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Demopolis will be playing at home against Chilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shelby County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sylacauga at 7:30 p.m. on March 12th. Shelby County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Sylacauga is ranked 36th).
