May River is a perfect 9-0 against Colleton County since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. May River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

May River had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Beaufort on Tuesday. The Sharks put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 6-1 victory. May River haven't had any issues with Beaufort recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

May River hit Beaufort with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jack Wheat (2), Marcus Jean-Gilles (2), Santiago Lopez, and Carter Lawson.

Meanwhile, Colleton County's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Hilton Head Island, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Colleton County's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Colleton County's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4. As for May River, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

May River got the 'W' when the teams last played two weeks ago against Colleton County by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Sharks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
