Pender won the last time they faced Bancroft-Rosalie and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pendragons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pendragons.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pender got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 17-25, 25-15, 25-27, 15-12.
Pender found their leader in sophomore Mattilyn Trimble, who had 20 digs and three assists.
