Recap: Lakeland Regional vs. West Milford
The West Milford Highlanders were successful in their previous meeting against the Lakeland Regional Lancers, and they didn't afford Lakeland Regional any payback this time around. The Highlanders took their contest against Lakeland Regional on Tuesday 74-66.
West Milford's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 35 points in the first half. Lakeland Regional wasn't quite able to keep up, and the score was 35-30 heading into the break. The offense for West Milford continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 39 points to put the game away.
The win bumped West Milford's record up to 3-14. The loss dropped Lakeland Regional's record to 7-14.
West Milford has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Park Ridge on Monday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. The Lancers will take on Wayne Hills today at home. Lakeland Regional will be hoping to continue their now five-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
