Basketball Recap: Beatrice Skates Past Ralston with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beatrice). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ralston Rams 69-14. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-3.

Despite the loss, Ralston still got an impressive performance from Andi Radji, who posted nine points. That was a full 64.3% of Ralston's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Beatrice moved to 8-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Ralston, they are on a 36-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Beatrice has already played their next match (against Nebraska City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ralston will head out to take on Malcolm at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
