Soccer Recap: King's Fork Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, King's Fork finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Nansemond River Warriors by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for King's Fork in their meetings with Nansemond River: they've now lost nine in a row.

King's Fork's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Nansemond River, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7-2.

King's Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nansemond River, they will take on Churchland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
