Soccer Game Preview: Eastmark vs. Maricopa

The Eastmark Firebirds will be playing at home against the Maricopa Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Eastmark's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Desert Sunrise 8-0. It was an even better day for Juan Sanchez as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Maricopa gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Crismon. Brayden DeMascio had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Rams got from the refs.

The win got Eastmark back to even at 2-2-1. As for Maricopa, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
