For the first time in his career, James Smtih scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown, helping propel Young Americans Christian past St. Francis by a score of 40-27. We think that's the best game he's posted since last Friday, when he picked up a sack and made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Smtih and Young Americans Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Unity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
