Volleyball Recap: Centennial Starts Season with Loss at Home

Centennial unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the John Carroll Catholic Rams on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

John Carroll Catholic has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will host Vero Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sebastian River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
