Soccer Recap: Florida State University High School Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Florida State University High School had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rutherford Rams a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Seminoles' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Their offense was hitting Rutherford from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Gabrielle Jeune led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Florida State University High School's win bumped their record up to 11-3-3. As for Rutherford, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Florida State University High School wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against North Bay Haven Academy on the 30th. Rutherford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
