May River is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Bishop England, who was ranked 15th at the time (May River was ranked third). The Sharks came out on top against the Battling Bishops by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

May River hit Bishop England with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Talan Liedtke, Favio Moro, and Erik Robertello, Jr.

Meanwhile, Beaufort kept a clean sheet against Colleton County on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Beaufort were the better team in the second half.

May River's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Beaufort, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-9.

May River got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Beaufort by a conclusive 6-1 score. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
