Basketball Recap: Williams Comes Up Short

Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 57-34 to the Biggs Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-46 back in January.

Biggs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skyler Long, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Long is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was David Ibarra, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Biggs, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Williams nor Biggs have any future games scheduled.
